Wesley H. "Bed" Coonen, 66, died September 2 of natural causes on the fishing grounds of the Copper River Delta. For the last twenty years, Coonen had served as chief lineman for Cordova Public utilities. Surviving are a daughter, Bunny Dahl of Portland, Oregon, and a brother, Arthur Coone.
