Virginia Dufresne Claire, who was born in Juneau and who was a nurse in Anchorage and in Port Angeles, Washington, for many years, died near Portland, Oregon, October 12. Her parents were Klondy and Frank Dufresne, author of several books about Alaska and the gold rush. Here husband, James, survives. [Mar1981]
