Sam Simonarsoti, formerly of Juneau, passed away last August in a nursing home on Whidbey Island, Washington. He was 73. Born in Winnepeg, he came to Juneau in May of 1920 and lived to the area until ill health forced his retirement about two years ago. His last employment was at the Madsen Brothers' store.� � [Nov1967]
