Mary Earling Shedwick, who moved to Nome in 1925 when her first husband. Roy B. Earling, was sent there from Boston by the U.S. Smelting. Refining, and Mining Company, died January 21. The family moved to Fairbanks in 1927 and lived there until 1952, retiring to Bainbridge Island. Washington. [June1981]
