Magnus Hallingstad, 84, who came to Alaska from Norway in 1914 and lived In Seldovia, Bristol Bay. Ketchikan, and Petersburg before moving to the Pioneers' Home in Sitka in 1961, died at the home December 14. He became a U.S. citizen in 1936.� [May1981]
