Lawson P. Turcotte, 83, one of the founders and the first president of Ketchikan Pulp Company, died in October in Bellingham, Washington. Ketchikan Pulp was formed in 1951 as a joint venture of Puget Sound Pulp & Timber Company and American Viscose Corporation. Turcotte, then president of Puget Sound, became president of Ketchikan Pulp. [Feb1981]
