John Eric Wik, 88, who made his home in Alaska for more than half a century, died in Astoria. Ore. late last April. Born in Finland, he came to Alaska in 1909 and worked as a fisherman, hunter, guide and homesteader in the Kenai-Kasilof rivers area. He moved south in 1960.� [Sep1965]
