Frank A. Degnan, 79, of Unalakleet, who was born in Saint Michael, died Thanksgiving Day at Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage. He had worked as a gold miner, silent movie actor, construction worker, commercial fisherman, bush manager for Wien Air Alaska, and operator of a cab service in Unalakieet. He was a member of the 1951 Territorial Legislature and president of Unalakieet village for 25 years. He served in the Alaska Territorial Ouard and on the Alaska Board of Fish & Game, as well as the Rural Affairs Commission. His wife, Ada. survives. [Mar1981]
