Foster K. "Sandy" Samburn, 77, or Anchorage, died at his home November 27. � He came fo Alaska in 1948 and lived in Seward, where he worked as a longshoreman and prospected for gold. � He and his wife Eleanor moved to Anchorage in 1964, and he worked with Alaska Communications system until his retirement. � The Samburns have been very active at the Salvation Army Center. � � [Apr1981]
