Eunice O. Parkinson, a Whitehorse resident for 30 years, died December 17. She had received the Meritorious Service Award from the Royal Canadian Legion in 1972 and was named Citizen of the Year in 1976 by the KIwanis Club for her devotion to the elderly and her work for the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.� [May1981]
