Esther Olive Pearson, 80, an Alaskan since 1924, living at Hyder. Juneau, Fairbanks, and since 1945, in Anchorage! died January 21 at the Pioneers' Home in Palmer. She had worked" as a cook for the Alaska Railroad. Her husband, William, lives in Anchorage. [June1981]
