Mrs. Dawson Klondyke Hewitt, 69, reportedly the first white child born in Dawson City in the Klondike, died at her Tacoma, Wash, home Sept. 2. She moved to Washington as a child and lived most of her life in Tacoma. There are no known survivors.� � [Nov1967]
