Dr. C C. Carter, Juneau physician and surgeon and a resident of Alaska since 1932, died in St. Ann's Hospital at Juneau on March 5 following a prolonged illness. He was 63. Dr. Carter came to Alaska as doctor in charge of the Alaska Native Hospital at Tanana. He moved to Juneau in 1934 and two years later became one of the founders of the Juneau Clinic.�  [June1963]
