Anthony A. Schnabel, Jr., 48, died in Anchorage early in July. A twenty-nine-year resident of Alaska, he joined his father in establishing the Schnabel Sawmill at Haines, moving to Anchorage in 1948. He was chief storekeeper for the Alaska Railroad at his death. Surviving are three cousins in Anchorage and Haines. [Aug1968]
