Annie Shorty, who was born more than 100 years ago in Juneau and lived there for most of her life, died February 23 at Mt. Edgecumbe, The exact data of her birth is unknown. She had been a resident of the Pioneers Home in Sitka for the past six years. Survivors include a son, Albert Wallace, Sr., Juneau, and a daughter, Helen Rivada, California.
